The Gallery and Studio
My gallery is located in historic Berlin, Maryland, right outside of Ocean City. The building dates back to 1897 where it was first used as a blacksmith lot. I bought the 1000 sq. ft. building in April 2009. With a month or so of renovations including adding plumbing and all new electric, among much more, I opened on June 12, 2009. The equipment arrived in October and we have been blowing glass since. I have a 250lb. electric furnace, 21 in. glory hole, massive annealer, pick up box and garage. I added a camera in the studio that can be viewed on the flat screen in the gallery. With some help from my friends I was able to have a one off sign and bench, a gas reducing glory hole, and much more. Please feel free to stop by!
